As much as I loved Avatar, District 9 was WAY better. Avatar had a budget of over 300 million, was colorful and breathtaking, but got too predictable. This had only 30 million, was dark and gritty, but brought loads of surprises and BLEW AWAY THE REST OF 2009′S FILMS!

Yes, you are totally right and I agree with you. The Dark Night had a much better balance between pleasing the general public, and those who truly understand the plot. Unfortunately, most movie-watchers do not really think things through. But I do think that the Dark Night and District 9 achieved something greater than the average mid-high budget action/drama/sci fi movie.

He wasn’t comparing Iron Man and the Dark Night. If you’re going to state your opinion at least back it up with something above a one sentence statement. Not saying you’re wrong, but you’re ideas don’t mean anything if they aren’t made clear. And this comment is way too long haha whatever goodbye.

Well, if the general public didn’t listen to they hype, and they all just wanted to see an action movie, most people would consider Iron Man just as good as the Dark Night. If you appreciate film, not saying you don’t then personally I liked the Dark Night more. I think they were both good movies for what they were going for, Christopher Nolan just did a better job making his movie appeal to almost everyone. But hey, thats just my opinion, not saying it’s right.

OH my God, this is a really really good movie. One of my coworker said it just okay that’s why I didn’t go to the theater to watch it, man, he’s a baster. I just watch it on blu-ray. You know what, it is one of the best movie I watch this year. It’s not 100% action, but that’s why it is so good. Amazing story line. At first I feel the alien looks really ugly. But at the end of the movie, I think they’ don’t look bad at all. I wonder what happen if this really happen to earth.

I liked Iron Man more then the Dark Knight. Sorry, thats just how i feel. Both movies kick total ass but I find a robotic super suit far more entertaining then a cop in black spandex.

This movie was absolutely amazing, by the end i just wanted to hug one of the aliens.

Im sorry nexus but iron man isnt a classic. Its just good entertainment, kind of like Terminator Salvation or 2012 with better than usual acting. The story wasnt too shocking and u knew how it was going to end. But strong performances from the cast and the visuals kept it amazing. Not really a masterpiece. Dark Knight had very skillful direction and there were so many clever twists and turns. This is directing at its best. Strong performances and good action as well.

There was only one person who I know that did not like this movie, and that was my fucking retarded redneck ugly stupid piece of shit cousin, I hate him and he doesn’t know anything good when he sees it, he is also a fat loser, there is a good reason behind the hate so don’t judge me.

Dark Knight was a masterpiece IMO. District 9 was a masterpiece as well, in a moral/actiony way, but Dark Knight was a masterpiece in way that makes you appreciate it for the directing and acting. District 9 couldve been longer IMO and expand more on the terrible treatment of aliens, but its a unique style of directing.
